Dear Danny,
I hope this letter finds you well. I would love to share with you some of my experiences and observations during my time in Beijing.
As you may know, Beijing is a bustling city filled with a rich history and culture. One of the most iconic landmarks in Beijing is the Great Wall of China, which stretches over 13,000 miles across the country. I had the opportunity to visit a section of the wall called Mutianyu, which offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.
I also visited several ancient temples and palaces, such as the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. These sites were full of intricate architecture and beautiful artwork, providing a fascinating glimpse into China's past.
In addition to historical attractions, Beijing also has a thriving modern side. One of my favorite spots was the 798 Art District, which is home to numerous galleries and studios showcasing contemporary Chinese art. The district is also filled with trendy cafes and restaurants that serve delicious food and drinks.
Of course, one cannot talk about Beijing without mentioning the food. From crispy Peking duck to savory dumplings, the cuisine in Beijing is simply amazing. I particularly enjoyed trying out the street food, such as Jianbing (Chinese crepes) and baozi (steamed buns).
Overall, my time in Beijing was a wonderful experience. I learned so much about the city's history and culture, and I was constantly amazed by its blend of tradition and modernity. I would highly recommend visiting Beijing if you ever have the chance.
Best regards,
